Palak Ke Parathe

Palak Ke Parathe Spinach/ Palak is one of my favourite vegetables. Whether in palak panner, palak bhaaji, palak pakora and the list will be endless, I love palak in anything.   As a kid, I remember eating palak puri. So my initial idea was to make palak puree and add in flour to make puris. But then my health conscious mind kicked and said no puris, make parathas. For paratha I was super lazy to blanch and puree, so I thought lets make it thepla style, the way we add raw methi leaves to the dough. So guys check out and do try. Ingredients: 1 Bunch Palak leaves chopped, thoroughly wash and chopped. 1 PCS Boiled Potato (mashed/ grated) 2 ½ cups Atta 1 TSP Ajwain/ Carrom Seeds 1 TSP Sada Til/ White Sesame seeds 2 Pcs Hari Mirch/ Green Chillies finely chopped 2-4 Cloves of Garlic/ Lasun finely chopped 1”   PCS of Ginger/ Adrak 1-2 TBSP Dahi Salt as per taste 2 TSP Oil Ghee/ Oil for frying This was for dinner   This was lunch in ...

Aloo Dum (without onion and garlic)

This is a quick version of aloo dum. Inspired from one of the cooking channel on youtube. Basically there were plenty of recipes available on youtube, I choose this particular recipe because you don’t have to fry the potatoes, hence saves time and it does not contain onion and garlic, but believe me it still came out creamy and full of flavour. Even while writing my mouth is watering.
